We’re soaking up every last sunset, late-night bonfire, and stack-worthy moment before summer slips away — and sharing a few of our favorite ways to make it last a little longer. Long days, warm nights, and classic summer nostalgia is all we’re worried about. We decided to give ya some tips on what to bring to your beach bonfire, how to set the vibe, and the summer traditions that keep us grounded (even when our feet are sandy). Whether you're a beach bonfire or a sunset picnic type, we’ve got you covered.
How to have the Perfect Beach Bonfire
First and most importantly gather all your favorite people + let em’ in on the plan!
Pick your spot:
Find a spot on a local beach, park, backyard etc. that allows fires. (Bonus points if there’s driftwood) You can always bring a portable pit as well! The less people = the more stars you're gonna see;)
Fire Starters > Lighter Fluid:
Pack newspaper, a lighter, and kindling (you’ll thank us later). Don’t forget the marshmallow sticks.
Trade in the Beach Towels for Blankets:
Grab your biggest blankets + your favorite old hoodie. Cushions or cute pillows, too. (if you're going for a more aesthetic beach bonfire).
Gotta have Tunes:
We did this part for ya;) Here’s our beach bonfire playlist you can jam to all night long. LISTEN NOW
Easy Eats:
What’s a bonfire without a little late night snack? Smore’s are our go-to, but fruit, chips + homemade burritos work too ;)
Keep it Clean:
Be sure to pick up all trash, make sure your fire is out, + follow local rules. Leave it better than ya found it!

Whether you’re back on campus or starting a new semester somewhere sunny, here are a few low-effort ways to keep things eco-conscious this fall.
-
Reuse what you’ve already got
You don’t need a whole new everything. That old backpack? Still good. The pen you found in your car? Bring it. Reusing what you have is the easiest (and cheapest) way to stay sustainable.
-
Thrift your Fits
We know we aren’t the only ones when we say we LOVE thrifting. If you’re looking for unique clothing like vintage levis, or oversized hoodies from the men’s section, thrifting is your best friend. Plus, you’re keeping clothes out of the landfill while spending LESS, it’s win-win! + If you’re lookin’ for some cute affordable jewelry for the new year- you know where to look- shop now!
-
Use Reusable containers
If ya pack your lunch be sure to use reusable containers to minimize the amount of plastic waste! This is an easy switch if ya ask us.
-
Host a Swap
Tired of your old clothes, school gear etc? Host a little swap day with your besties and trade your clothes! Technically it’s still new to you;) Plus isn’t wearing someone else’s clothes just like, WAY more fun. Let your old favorites be someone’s new favorite.
