New Year, Slow Start

Happy 2026 GB fam! We hope you're easing your way into the new year;)

Around here, the new year is less about rushing into big resolutions and more about gradually gettin’ back into the swing of things. Reconnecting, resetting, and letting things unfold a little slower. No pressure to have it all figured out. Just small intentions, steady movement, and space to breathe.

This month is about taking your time. Setting goals that feel realistic, and letting the year grow naturally, kind of like waiting for the right swell.

🌞 Feature Story: 

To start the year off we planned our first lil get together with some of our local surfer girls. We hosted a Galentines Surf day! We ate donuts, took SO much content in our new collection and surfed under the sun. It truly was the best day filled with new friendships, laughter and St. Christophers. 

It was one of those days that reminded us why we love this community so much. Friends cheering each other on, the most perfect longboard waves, conversations on the sand. Simple, grounding, and exactly what we needed to kick off the year.

A slow start applies to more than just goals. It's also a great time to make small, sustainable shifts that actually stick!

A few easy ways we’re resetting this year:

• Doing a closet cleanout and passing pieces along to someone who’ll love them. Donating to a charity or giving your unwanted pieces to someone in need is a great way to start the year and make you feel good;)
  
  

• Keeping reusable bags and water bottles within reach- try keeping your water bottle with you everywhere you go so all you gotta do is fill it up. Keeping your reusable bags in your car is the perfect way to make sure you bring them in the grocery, to the farmers market or wherever you might be headed.
  
  

• Swapping everyday items for compostable or reusable supplies where possible.
  
  

Nothing drastic, just small choices that add up over time;)
